Installing Oracle Database 26ai on Oracle Linux 8.10

This note illustrates the installation of Oracle Database 26ai on an Oracle Linux 8.10 VirtualBox hosted environment.

Download the Oracle AI Database Software with below mentioned link:

https://www.oracle.com/in/database/technologies/oracle-database-software-downloads.html

 

Create the directory structure to host the Oracle 26ai database software home and unzip the

LINUX.X64_2326100_db_home.zip file in this location. 

mkdir /u01/app/oracle/product/23.26.1/dbhome_1

unzip LINUX.X64_2326100_db_home.zip

 

Install Oracle 26ai Software

Run the runInstaller to launch the Oracle 26ai database installer.

Create Oracle Database 26ai using DBCA
